One of the problems with Christianity today is that people think the purpose of our faith is to become blessed.

Repentance – the inexplicable.

Do you realize that Jesus, Peter, Paul and the disciples at Pentecost were all referred to at one point in time in their lives as living out of their minds?

Oftentimes, it is through observing the lives of others around me that God exposes the gray areas where my faith is required to grow. When He reveals doubt and uncertainty to me, I embrace them today as opportunities to learn from the God of More. They’re rarely comfortable, convenient or predictable.

There’s no need to wash up before you dive in. Pursue God as one who is unwilling to be satisfied with lip service. Porpoise don’t have lips you know.

Today, I find that most people who say, “just hang in there” really mean “I don’t have the time or desire to walk through this process with you. You’re on your own.”

Bulletproof faith is no badge of honor. It’s a death sentence.

To continue to just go with the flow of this dogma is nonsense. Jesus spent his lifetime swimming against the tide of cultural and religious deception.

We live in a world that worships individualism, self-interest, self-actualization, self-determination and celebrity status. These values trumpet the glories of becoming independent and self-sufficient. However…..

Too many people think our communication with God needs to be all cleaned up and nice, before God takes notice. That’s simply nonsense.
