Beartooth Highway

The following photo album captures the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and Beartooth Highway/Pass – a two day journey over (Cody, Wyoming to Red Lodge Montana) and back during late June 2017.

The Beartooth Highway is a National Scenic Byways All-American Road.  This 68 mile byway winds its way through southwest Montana and northwest Wyoming . The summit is 10,947 feet elevation. One section of U.S. Route 212 between Red Lodge, Montana and Cooke City, Montana, is the highest elevation highway in Wyoming (10,947 feet) and Montana (10,350 feet), and is the highest elevation highway in the Northern Rockies.
