Cover Photo for SOLVE Oregon

I was recently notified that one of my images of the Oregon coast was selected by Solve Oregon.

Solve Oregon (excerpt from the web):

SOLVE is a long-standing Oregon non-profit with the mission of bringing Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewardship. Since 1969, hundreds of thousands of Oregon volunteers have stepped up to participate by joining a project or leading their own – and the results have been amazing!

Here’s an excerpt from Joy Irby, Solve Oregon’s Program Director:

Good afternoon!

I am the Program Coordinator for the annual SOLVE Spring Oregon Beach Cleanup in Oregon. SOLVE is a Portland-based non-profit that was established in 1969 with the mission to bring Oregonians together to improve the environment and establish a legacy of stewardship.

Our 30th annual Spring Oregon Beach Cleanup is on March 28, 2015. The event will support over 5,000 volunteers as they clear the entire Oregon Coast of debris. Last year, more than 50,000 lbs was removed. In addition, volunteers will participate in a citizen science effort to report what and how much they are finding. The data we receive supports marine debris prevention efforts and education.

We are in the process of creating our 2015 event brochure. During the search for a cover photo representing the cleanup, I came across your amazing photographs of the Oregon Coast.

We would be honored if you would allow us to utilize one of these photos for the brochure cover. I can send you an example from past years if you send me your email address. We would of course credit you on the brochure and poster which are sent out to over 10,000 Oregonians and link to your webpage/social media pages on our website.

Look for it!
