Dios de los Muertos – Day of the Dead —is a celebration of the continuity of life— it is one of Mexico’s most important religious and cultural holidays, celebrated primarily on October 31st through November second each year. It is one of our favorite Mexican cultural celebrations. NO! It is NOT a Halloween celebration.

This LINK is one of THE BEST explanations of Dios de Los Muertos – for those who may be unfamiliar with it. For photographers and videographers it is an epic cultural experience to capture.

Below are some images (all images are original images of mine. Some are composites of multiple images and overlays – also mine)  I would like to share with you. CLICK on any image below to enlarge and view.

If you have the opportunity to celebrate Dios de los Muertos – Don’t miss it!
