Keep Me Fed – The Warning 

On  June 28^th 2024, The Warning will release their 4^th album…Keep Me Fed.  The three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico are taking the rock n roll world by storm. They launched their ensemble in 2013 with the three Villarreal Vélez sisters: Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They will perform on The Jimmy Kimmel LIVE show on June 27^th (11:30pm PDT on ABC). I have written about them before in December 2023.

Tour dates are HERE. Their European tour will resume on July 5^th through August 6^th. This includes shows in France, Spain, Austria, Germany, Italy, the U.K., Ireland, Poland, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Belgium. Their US tour begins August 30^th through October 13^th with shows in Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, California, and Washington. Shows in Canada are scheduled for October 15^th through the 30th including shows in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. In 2025, the year kicks off with 4 shows in Mexico.

Unfortunately, almost all the 2024 shows above are sold out as of June 18, 2024, with the exception of seats in the rear of the venues. Their record label is Republic Records/Lava. Republic Records is Taylor Swift’s record label…Their social media presence is legendary. They can be found on virtually every significant platform. Their YouTube channel has millions of views. The creativity that inhabits their music videos is both unique and infectious. In September 2023, Pau Villarreal was voted number one drummer by readers of Modern Drummer in the “Up and Coming” category. Drumeo presented her the Rock Drummer of the Year award in February 2024.

I had the opportunity and privilege to be up front, center stage for their show in Queretaro, Mexico in December 2023 to photograph the show. (Sincere thanks to Rudy Joffroy – the Manager of  The Warning for authorized, special access). The images I captured continue to inspire me to develop creative photography imagery incorporating my image library with the images of The Warning. (SEE BELOW)

FOR ME, PHOTOGRAPHY HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT CAPTURING THE INCREDIBLE BEAUTY THAT SURROUNDS US IN THIS LIFE. ON MY FLICKR SITE, I HAVE OVER 5.4 MILLION VIEWS OF MY IMAGES. I AM GRATEFUL THAT SO MANY FOLKS HAVE ENJOYED THE IMAGES I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CAPTURE. THAT IS ONE OF THE PRIMARY REASONS I ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHY IS TO SHARE THE JOY OF THE IMAGERY WITH OTHERS. IT ALSO HELPS DEFRAY THE COSTS OF THE SAME AS COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS PURCHASE LIMITED USE LICENSES OF MY WORK.

The following are my some of my most recent images of The Warning. Yes – the background and overlay images are mine. What may appear as native American background are NOT. They are images of Concheros dancers native to Mexico. Images are captured with a Canon EOS 7D (DSLR) using a Canon 24-105MM f4 L and 70-200 f2.8 L telephoto lens. Images are shot in RAW format.
