Winter Scenes

A snow before Thanksgiving 2015 allowed Reggie and I to spend the day AFTER the dump capturing some wonderful winter scenes.

These images are LARGE – VERY HIGH QUALITY  ( I shoot with Canon Professional Gear and shoot in RAW vs. jpeg) and are NOT intended to be viewed on a mobile phone.

PLEASE view on a high resolution PC, Mac, HDTV, iPad, SurfacePro 3 or Tablet to enjoy these images.

Winter Waterfall – Steelhead Falls

The seasons provide spectacular images of the natural beauty that surround us here in Central Oregon.

Reggie and I trekked into Steelhead Falls…with crampons and hiking poles. The hike – in a foot and a half of snow – was well worth it (Although I don’t recommend it for those who are not fit, and don’t have the appropriate winter hiking gear).

November 2014 – Snowy Winter Images

Well, for the second time in 25 years, they closed our local airport (RDM) due to snow and freezing rain (evening of 11-13 to  morning of 11-14-2014).

Reggie and I put it in 4 wheel drive and headed out to enjoy some amazing winter scenes. These shots were captured in the Smith Rock State Park, Terrebonne and Lone Pine areas on Friday November 14, 2014.
