Dios de los Muertos – Mexico

I visited Jiquilpan, Mexico on Saturday November 3, 2018 as the City was in the midst of celebration Dios de los Muertos. Typically celebrated between October 31 and November 2nd – Jiquilpan has a 4 day celebration from the 1st through the 4th.

A celebration that memorializes the dead. Families and communities celebrate the lives of those lost in this life. It is an incredibly beautiful, colorful and sacred Mexican tradition.

A vastly more purposeful, meaningful, colorful ,and all inclusive celebration that that of the typical American Halloween.

ENJOY!
