These images were captured in the Zona Centro Historico. The 2020 population for the city proper was 9,209,944, with a land area of 1,485 square kilometers (573 sq mi). The greater Mexico City regions 2021 population is now estimated at 21,918,936. It is the 5th largest city in the world in 2021.
Frankly, the area is so large and densely populated that one must focus on a certain area and/or certain attractions during any trip.
